Our team joined forces with SJSU and engineering partners to relocate the iconic 6,500 sq ft, nearly 200 ton Victorian-era Scheller House—designed by prominent architect Theodore Lenzen and originally built in 1904—nearly a mile across campus (cbsnews.com).

The mission: thread the house down narrow, tree-lined San Fernando Street, navigating around power lines, street lamps, and traffic signals—an engineering marvel executed with precision and care (cbsnews.com).

Starting at 7 a.m., the structure inched along over eight hours, drawing spectators as we maneuvered the massive load into its new SJSU location near 10th and San Antonio Streets (peninsulapress.com).

The move was essential to make room for the university’s $181 million Interdisciplinary Science Building, preserving the historic house while enabling campus growth (peninsulapress.com).

As part of our standard facilities maintenance program, Dynasel technicians are available to repair and maintain any number of key structural components of a given facility. In this regard, three important technical systems of a facility areas are highlighted; the electrical, the mechanical, or the plumbing system of a given business.
